[3DS] Vice3DS V1.4 Released

New update of Vice3DS for lovers of the old commodore home computer by the badda71 developer with the stable version license plate 1.4.Vice3DS is the emulator of the old commodore64 for NEW 3DS. The emulator is already quite stable but there are still many things to do, but it has achieved excellent performance and playability.

Vice3DS only works on an N3DS because it needs the additional CPU power (runs on 804MHz).

If you are upgrading from a later version than 1.0, be sure to delete /3ds/vice3ds/config/sdl_sym.vkm before starting the emulator. Otherwise, the new key mappings will not be updated and the new keyboard will not work properly.

GUIDE

  • Extract the archive to the root of your SD card and start vice3ds with HBL.
    Preconfigured button functions:
  • Select: open the menu
  • Left trigger: open the virtual keyboard
  • Start: start the emulator
  • The circular pad and the X button are mapped to the joystick port 1
  • The directional pad and button A are mapped to the joystick port 2 this (and many other things) can be changed in the Vice menu (Machine settings -> Joystick settings -> Swap joystick ports)
