[SWITCH] HBUpdater V1.0 Released

The developer LyfeOnEdge has released a new update of HBUpdater with the new version 1.0. HBUpdater is a one-stop-shop for managing, injecting payloads, installing Switch game backups and updating your homebrews. Nintendo Switch.

How to use it:

  • Extract HBUpdater.zip
  • Install  python
  • Double-click startHPUpdater.bat
  • Extract HBUpdater.zip
  • Mac users may already have a compatible version of python installed, try double-clicking HBUpdater.py – If the file opens in a text reader, close the player and right-click on the file and open it with pylauncher
  • If it still doesn’t work, install  python
  • Extract HBUpdater.zip
  • Change to the directory in a terminal
  • Type “python HBUpdaterGUI.py”
    • If you lack dependencies, do the following:
    • sudo apt-get install python3 python3-pip python3-tk
  • If you don’t know how to do it you should probably use Windows.



  • The App now implements the Homebrew Appstore package system  , many thanks to the people on DISCORD 4TU for their help which allowed me to make my app compatible with theirs.
  • More changes, improvements and bug fixes than you can count. 
    In particular, the injector now remembers which payload was selected from the instances.
