[PSVITA] Released Easy Downgrader / Updater For PS Vita 1.03

The Onelua Team developer BaltazaR4 has released a new update of the fantastic homebrew for users who do not have the possibility of having a PC during downgrade operations and updating their PSVITA in Easy Downgrader / Updater for PS Vita compatible with all firmware versions PSVITA.

IMPORTANT

This app was created for people who have no access to a PC or for those who want to run the whole process directly on PS Vita.

Instructions

  1. In order to install and use this app, Trinity, H-encore or Henkaku must be installed
  2. After taking care of step 1, you can now think of what you like best about the various FWs.

Controls:

Main menu

For the warning screens !!: Please read them, that’s why we put them there !! :).

  • O: Download the chosen FW, choose the desired FW PUP and press “X” to start the download.
  • Triangle:  Install Modoru.
  • Square:  install Enso v1.1.
  • X:  Install H-encore.
  • Select:  Extra options.

Extra options

  • X: Install Memecore (for users with 3.60 firmware who want to stay there).
  • R + su: Reinstall H-encore.
  • L + su: Reinstall Memecore save.

NOTE:

Memecore is only recommended for 3.60, for 3.65 or higher you must use H-encore except for 3.69-70. (After installing H-encore / Memecore, this app will restart your PS Vita and the DB will be updated, no changes to the bubble layout).

How to use this app?

Install 3.65 Enso on your console

To upgrade from 3.60 or Downgrade from 3.67, 3.68, 3.69, 3.70 to 3.65 with Enso, proceed as follows:

  1. Make sure the battery is 70% or more charged (50% recommended by Modoru).
  2. Press Circle and select 3.65 UPDATE (this will also install Modoru if not found).
  3. Press Square to install the Enso v1.1 App.
  4. Press Cross to install H-encore (only if you are on 3.60 so you can install H-encore after the update).
  5. After restarting PS Vita, re-enable HEN if necessary, disable all plugins and restart again (you can use autoplugin to do so or restore taihen config.txt).
  6. Once PS Vita has restarted, re-enable HEN if necessary, start Modoru and follow the instructions.
  7. At the end of the update process, reactivate HEN, start Enso v1.1 and follow the instructions.

If everything went as planned … Congratulations !! now you have a PS Vita 3.65 Enso.

To return to 3.60 from the higher firmware versions and Enso

  1. Make sure the battery is 70% or more charged (50% recommended by Modoru).
  2. Press Circle and select 3.60 UPDATE (this will also install Modoru if not found).
  3. Press square to install the App Enso v1.1.
  4. Press Cross to install Memecore (only if you want to go back to 3.60 so that you can install Memecore once the downgrade is done).
  5. After restarting PS Vita, re-enable HEN if necessary, disable all plugins and restart again (you can use autoplugin to do so or restore taihen config.txt).
  6. Once the PS Vita has restarted, re-enable HEN if necessary, start Modoru and follow the instructions.
  7. At the end of the update process, reactivate HEN, start Enso v1.1 and follow the instructions.

If everything went as planned … Congratulations !! now you have an Ensoed 3.60 PS Vita.

Upgrade to 3.68 from higher or lower versions

  1. Make sure the battery is 70% or more charged (50% recommended by Modoru).
  2. Press Circle and select 3.68 UPDATE (this will also install Modoru if not found).
  3. Press Cross to install H-encore (only if you want to upgrade from 3.60 or downgrade from 3.69, .70 so that you can install H-encore at the end of the process).
  4. After restarting the PS Vita, re-enable HEN if necessary, disable all plug-ins and restart again (you can use autoplugin to do so or restore taihen config.txt).
  5. Once the PS Vita has restarted, re-enable HEN if necessary, start Modoru and follow the instructions.

If blah blah blah planned … Congratulations! blah blah blah 3.68 PS Vita XD.

Extra things that this app can do

I think I already said it but this is just a reminder :).

  1. Install H-encore if you are on 3.60, 3.69, 3.70 without a PC if you want to go up or down to 3.65 (you must have Henkaku or Trinity to do it).
  2. Install Memecore if you are on 3.65, 3.67, 3.68, 3.69, 3.70 without a PC if you want to go down to 3.60 (you must have H-encore or Trinity to do it).
  3. Customize H-encore / Memecore savedata (no trophy warning message at startup).
  4. Reduces the size of H-encore below 10mb if the full-size bubble is detected.

Changelog

  • Added option to download and save PUP files on ux0: data / PUPS / (127mb ea), choose yes / no for each version.
  • Added autodetect of the Enso version to avoid reinstalling the chosen version of Enso if the app was found.
  • Added the possibility to translate warning messages in (lang) .txt.
  • Added Japanese and French language.
  • Fixed bug when exiting the Enso menu, now go to the main menu instead of the PUP menu.
